Cruises from Orion Reef

Orion Reef is on the outer fringe of the Great Barrier Reef, approximately 50km east of the Lockhart River. It surfaces only at low tide before submerging again into the sea. Guests are landed ashore by Zodiacs onto a white sand spit. From there visitors can swim, snorkel and scuba dive over a pristine and seldom visited section of the reef, alive with corals and teeming with myriads of tropical fish.
