Cruises from Paulet Island
Paulet Island is a small circular volcanic cone, about 1.5 km in diameter, with rocky slopes rising to a cone 353m above the shoreline. It is located 4.5 km SE of Dundee Island, off the NE end of the Antarctic Peninsula. Because of its large penguin colony, it is a popular destination for sightseeing tours. The island has been identified as an Important Bird Sanctuary because it supports a very large breeding colony of about 100,000 pairs of Adelie Penguins.
