Ships visiting Australia: Voyager | Mariner (across our summers)

Regent Seven Seas Cruises, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has three luxury mid-size vessels aimed at the up-market executive level of cruising. The luxury RSSC Line of all-suite ships, along with upper premium Oceania Cruises, is now under the umbrella of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. Guests number in the hundreds rather thousands. Regent is the only ocean-going cruise line to include free shore excursions for everybody in every port, which is a great saving for families. Seven Seas’ fleet visits over 300 ports and exotic locations on around-the-world cruises. Accommodations are elegantly appointed suites, with an in-suite bar, and the large majority have balconies. Restaurants are operated by Le Cordon Bleu chefs, rather like open-seated dining in a hotel. If preferred, dine in your suite. In some of the alternative restaurants reservations are recommended. Dress is elegant casual with some formal nights.

Expect flawless service inclusive of gratuities, beverages, the majority of shore excursions, and round-trip airfares from North America. The Club Mariner Youth Program is offered on selected cruises in Europe. Superb enrichment programs are tied to itineraries. All RSSC vessels were refurbished in 2013-2015, to include ship-wide WiFi, cell phone at sea, plush new bedding and toiletries, flat-screen TVs and other state-of-the-art electronics. Entertainment is sophisticated, and uppermost suites have butler service. Itineraries are globe-spanning. Everything is included (Wi-Fi too) without exception. Awards and honours for RSSC are impressive (such as NACTA Luxury Cruise Line of the Year 2014) and across the areas of small/medium ship luxury, cuisine, readers’ choice, itineraries, and client satisfaction. RSSC was awarded Cruise Critic UK Editors’ Pick 2014 “Best for Luxury.”
