Ships based in Australia: Dawn Princess | Sea Princess | Sun Princess
Ships visiting Australia: Diamond Princess | Emerald Princess | Golden Princess
Ships visiting S-E Asia: All of the above | Sapphire Princess

Sea, Sun, Dawn, Diamond and Golden Princess operate from Australasian ports on regional and world voyages. With 18 ships, Princess is a premium British-American cruise line based in California, and known for its TV “Love Boat” fame. Australia follows the USA market share for Princess ships. The breadth of itineraries and onshore tours is a strength for the line. Princess is a leader in NW America and Mexican Riviera. The Line is directed to the North American market, but guests are truly international. These well-maintained ships offer a good range of entertainment. Princess fleet has a high percentage of balcony cabins, and a higher-than-average Passenger/Space Ratio. Recent awards to Princess include: Both Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure include Princess Cruises in the top 5 Large Ship cruise lines; and Cruise Critic Editors’ Pick Awards 2014 best for “Itineraries, Romance, Onboard Shopping, Onboard Photography, Asia/Pacific Itineraries, and Central America Itineraries”.

Innovations are a feature with Princess, such as its new visa advisory service with bookings. It has just rolled out its adults-only Sanctuary facility onto 16 of its ships. Princess Cruises features “Crafted by Curtis Stone” menu items in the main dining rooms across the entire 18-ship fleet. Anytime Dining is available on 14 ships. The giant LED screen above the main pool presents Movies Under the Stars (though not the two Explorer Class ships). The fleet’s ScholarShip@Sea programs (for a fee) offer enrichment ranging from cooking to computing to ceramics. Other features attract golf enthusiasts, and Weddings and Ceremonies at Sea for those in love. Youngsters from 3 to 17 years have their own special areas, activities and supervision. On-shore and pre-/post-cruise tours are well planned and synchronised, and are bookable before or during your cruise. Payment of gratuities (tips) in included in fares for the three Princess ships in Australian waters.
