Ships visiting Australia + S-E Asia: Orchestra in early 2015

MSC Cruises is an Italian-Swiss company based in Geneva. The largest European and third largest cruise operator in the world (after Carnival and Royal Caribbean) offers Italian-based ambience. Itineraries include the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, NE America, Caribbean, Africa, and South America. With the world’s most modern cruise fleet, newest ships offer specialty restaurants, poolside movie screens and expansive spas. Cruises are suited to adult couples and singles, families with children, and guests who enjoy big city life, outdoor cafés, and constant activity. Children are especially catered for during meal times, as well as nanny-hours for babies and toddlers. Seven-night cruises can be linked across ships for Grand Tours of 14, 21 and 28 nights. MSC’s Yacht Club offers ‘ship-within-a-ship’ benefits. Single supplements are significantly reduced on many voyages. MSC will match your benefits from any other Cruise Line’s loyalty program.

The MSC Cruises fleet can be divided into two: the value-priced refurbished classic ships (sailing the Mediterranean and South America) with more exotic itineraries and tailored to older travellers, and its many new vessels that cater to retirees in winter and families during summer. On some itineraries children under 12 cruise free when sharing a cabin with adults. An MSC Cruise at school holiday time provides opportunities for kids to have fun while Mum and Dad relax. Internet access was upgraded in mid-2016 for faster web access. In the Mediterranean choose at which port you wish to embark and disembark – there are 10 new flexible embarkation ports available. Purchase an ‘Allegrissimo’ package for unlimited daily drinks (including drinking water) during your cruise.
