Cunard Line is a British-American company based in Southampton, and a leading operator of trans-Atlantic routes. Cunard is a luxury brand trading on its British traditions and display of maritime history. Its vessels, with trademark red and black funnels, are the cruise ships MS Queen Victoria and MS Queen Elizabeth, and ocean liner RMS Queen Mary 2, one of the most luxurious ships at sea. Each vessel has a regal air, showcasing grand atriums, promenade shopping arcades, and a choice of dining options based on cabin accommodations. Suites are lavish. The royal atmosphere guests experience is exemplified by afternoon tea, a white-glove affair served in the lovely two-deck-high Queen’s Room. Cunard adheres to formal dress codes (black tie). Passengers in Queens Grill and Princess Grill Suites have exclusive access to certain areas.

QM2 offers year-round 7/8-night trans-Atlantic crossings. All Cunard ships cruise to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, and the coasts of North America and the Caribbean. Each vessel departs Southampton in January for a 3-month annual world voyage. Passengers are mostly British and North Americans, with announcements in English, German, French, and occasionally Spanish. Cunard life is suited to individuals or couples of all ages with a nostalgic and historical appreciation. Children’s facilities are excellent; youngsters are supervised by real English nannies. Take your dog or cat with you. Solo cruisers have the services of a dancing partner. Luxury Travel Magazine 2015 Gold List Winner award for “Best Luxury Cruise Ship (large)” went to QM2. Travel + Leisure named Cunard in the top three Mega-Ship Cruise Lines, and Porthole Cruise Magazine Readers named Cunard Line for Best Transatlantic Itineraries, in 2014.
