Coral Expeditions (previously Coral Princess Cruises) is Australia’s longest-established adventure cruise operator of 33 years. Cairn-based, its three vessels carry from 44 to 72 passengers. Coral Expeditions I plies the warm waters of Australia’s Barrier Reef, seasonally relocating to the Kimberley coast of Western Australia. Her sister ship Coral Expeditions II operates year-round departures from Cairns and Townsville, visiting idyllic islands and locations on the reef, some exclusively. Coral Discoverer explores Australia’s NW, PNG, Melanesia, New Zealand, Tasmania and super discovery adventures in SE Asia.

Adventure cruises share the great beauty, diverse cultures, dramatic landscapes and the remote coastlines of Australia, and explore pristine islands, reefs and atolls. Coral Expeditions ships are purpose-built for comfort, safety and luxury, set in a casual atmosphere. They employ Expedition Leaders, Guest Lecturers on longer trips, Marine Biologists and SCUBA instructors. Cuisine is down-to-earth good food, and good wine. Coffee & tea is complimentary all day, there are no in-cabin TVs, and an open bridge policy. Shore excursions are included in the fare. Testimonials of past national and international guests speak in superlatives of their onboard and excursion experiences. Coral Expeditions is owned, flagged and crewed by Australians.
