Ships based in Australia: Celebrity Solstice (across our summers)
Ships visiting Australia & S-E Asia: Celebrity Millenium

Celebrity Cruises (with the “X” on the funnel) is a premium line. Its fleet is ranked Number 2 (after Cunard) among the large cruise companies (Berlitz 2015). Celebrity’s Solstice has strong support with Australian - New Zealand - Pacific cruises, from October to April. Celebrity delivers a north-American cruise experience at a modest price, with high levels of service and large staff. The latest Celebrity ships now carry 3046 passengers, yet the feeling of spaciousness and quality of service has been maintained. The Line continues to introduce enhancements to its services and onboard enrichment programs, marking it as a serious competitor to some of the smaller luxury lines. Purchase a See How It’s Done Tour to access all the key areas over three hours, finished with a wine-paired lunch. For passengers seeking exclusive use of certain ship areas, ask for a Concierge Class or AquaClass Suite.

Celebrity’s ships are more suited to sophisticated adult couples, families with older children, singles, and guests who appreciate stylish surroundings, no announcements, quality entertainment, and food/service that are extremely good. Niceties are reflected by way of staff members’ crisp uniforms and attention to small personal services, dining tables for two along with real chinaware and cloth napkins, cloth towels in the public restroom, and assistance with trays to dining tables. Celebrity Line won some outstanding awards in 2014: Cruise Critic Editors’ Pick (US and UK) for Best Suites; Porthole Cruise Magazine Readers’ Choice Award for Best Onboard Enrichment; Travel + Leisure for Best Mega-Ship Cruise Line (#2); and Conde Nast Traveler listed the line in the top four of The World’s Best Cruise Lines by Readers’ Choice.
